We made music!

The girls had a great time "making music" to earn their
patch for Girl Scouts. They watched bagpipers, played
musical glasses, sang, danced, and even tried to sing in a
round. What a very musical day!

Congratulations on the Cookie Sale

Hi everyone. I just wanted to send around our final numbers
for the cookie sale. What a fantastic job the troop did!
The final amount of cookie boxes sold was 1536 boxes. Yes,
1536 boxes!!! The final dollar amount was $5,376.00. Of
that, the troop keeps a whopping $998.40. That's a great
job for the troop and our first ever cookie sale.

The girls have decided to use that money for three things -
(1) an end of year activity/party (we will let them pick
their actual activity), (2) craft supplies/patches and (3) a
small donation to the church that let's us hold our meetings
there for free. All a great use for the money!

Again, please join me in thanking Dawn for all of her hard
work as our cookie manager. She went to cookie meetings,
met the cookie truck, held hundreds of boxes of cookies in
her basement, and kept us all organized. Thank you Dawn -
great job!!!

What a fantastic cookie sale!
